Does anybody know if there is or was some MI stickers at some point? I know some of the other sub section clubs have there own designs? Perhaps we should all try and come up with one as I'd love to add it to my small collection

Hi Sam,
as far as I know , there haven't been any.. ,
after the initial meet in March this year - there was talk of designing the MI logo,

only been a couple of other meets so far,

I only joined earlier on this year in may time I had no idea the club was so new?! Would be good if we had some though might help broaden our horizons

I agree, a MI sticker would be great

We did have some putative designs suggested by various members: but no-one seemed that keen, at the time... -- and it took long enough to get the words 'Midlands Italia' into common usage...!

May I suggest that we aim for something monochrome (preferably white, on a transparent background), that would look good on glass; and with extremely simple typography...?

I then suggest we put any entries into a poll; and take it from there.

For those who have submitted designs before, please feel free to resubmit them to this thread. I shall PM everyone on the MI list, to let them know this is happening....

PS: I shall donate a suitable prize for the winning designer...!

I think you're on to something... -- but am not so sure which county(?) borders this is supposed to represent. I do like the Notbothering (sorry) look of it, though...!

It's suppose to be all of the counties... Don't think it's turned out too well, but it's the best I can do on an IPad with fat fingers lol

We need to get a design sorted guys we spoke about this today and I know I can't design one as I'm useless. I'm thinking along the lines of simple but effective haha less is more

I agree Sam would love another little sticker on my car lol! Something like just the fiat forum one but maybe fancier italic style writting? Borrowed these from google but obvs in Midlands Italia.

I like that top one! Midlands italia in that would look good! I would even take a sticker off the back window to put it on

I like the "amaze italic" writing best, could try incorporate that somehow? :S

I see weve somehow got a LOGO ,
the 500 with a Tricolore bench seat.. seems OK ,
but probably too complex for a printed car sticker..??,

I quite the amaze italic font aswel, nice and simple that would look good as a sticker and it shouldn't be too hard to get it printed should it?

I can't say that I'm a fan, to be brutally honest.

Maybe it's my age: but -- and I used to design such things for a living... -- a logo should be instantly readable and identifiable: and I don't think any of these italic typefaces are. Sorry....

Happy to come back with something -- when I can find the time (but before the next meet...) -- and be shot down in flames....

On another note, small swirly italic writing and vinyl stickers dont mash.
Especially if you clean your car a lot like me. I had one once and avoided it with the pressure washer but over time it just started to peel and look bad
Maybe we need something bold but eye catching.

I see what you mean, anyone else had any ideas? Saw a sticker on a subaru in fancy font says g Midlands scoobys and it didn't look good at all in person.
