Looks like model names change all the timeÖ Ended up ordering:
- footpack: Thule Evo Raised Rail
- bars: Thule WingBar Evo 118 (in black)

The 118cm were the suggested ones on the Thule buyers' guide. 127cm was another option but thought it might protrude too much.

Picking up the car next Friday! Can't wait.
Will upload picture when the rack is fitted.
Have a great weekend y'all. :-)

Re: New Panda Cross

Something in the manual for the Cross 4x4 made me curious. It states that if you want to disable the warning sound when seatbelts are not worn you need to ask a Fiat dealer (the warning is still displayed in the dash), and that you can turn it back on via the setup menu…

So… Does anyone know how Fiat turns off that warning sound? Via a device that plugs in to the ODB interface? Or via some kind of special code using the turn signals? (The manual walks you through a procedure to use the turn signals to reset something, can't recall what.)

In the second case, wondering if these "secret" procedures are published somewhere.

Re: New Panda Cross

The dealer will have the software to do it via ODB.

I did this (and much else) in my old Lexus using the Carista app, but Fiat isn’t supported.

How brilliant would it be to have software to do thatÖ
To turn off the seat belt sound on Chryslers, according to another forum, there is a special operation that can be done inside the car, involving fastening and unbuckling three times and other steps I forgot.

Re: New Panda Cross

I'm surprised how little support there is for Fiat in ODB apps like Carista, but apart from the 500 it's not a brand with much presence in the USA.

Good choice. I always think that white Cross's really do look like Pandas! Are they still doing good deals?

Re: New Panda Cross

Thanks! Always liked them in white and my 100hp and 4x4 were white. Also had a couple of black ones - mk 1 and 2- and a mk 1 in dark metallic blue with a lime green interior which was a Sergio Tacchini limited edition. Wish I still had that one. In fact wish I still had all of them!

I had a great deal and for a factory order. Too good to turn down. Not that I took a lot of persuading.

In MES the Fiat specialist software its just a case of finding the relevant menu and switching the bongs off with the on screen menu. I occasionally get tempted, but was running the 1/4 mile from our local shop to home beltless and got a stern talking to from the local law man. Now I think it may not be such a bad noise!

Thank you. For my own reference, here's a link to MultiEcuScan, the software you mentioned unless I'm mistaken.

Just picked up the carÖ That seatbelt warning is really loud, but found that I can just plug in the passenger seatbelt on the stretch between the mailbox, the gate and the house, where I would have to unbuckle and rebuckle three times.

Also ordering a cheap seatbelt extender from Ebay to serve the same purpose.

Back to the cross bars question, here's the car fitted with the Thule WingBar Evo 118cm (went with black).

Re: New Panda Cross

That view!!

Those bars are much neater than my square ones. Bet they are quieter, too. Mine whistle louder than a milkman at 6am.
