yeh im on 17's and need to drop it down the full 90mm to get the arch gap gone and even then its sitting just level.... not inside the arch lol.

so 30mm IMO wont do diddly.

17's look sweet , i have 17's on my wagon and it will be dropped around 50-60mm, but i may step up to 18's for some tuck and camber. The stilo arches are huge

i know. you could yodel into stilo arches an hear echos for weeks

i want some tuck under asewll .

Ahhhhhh yes, the memories, my previous was a ka aswel (also in that colour) although I never cubed mine sadly however I'll put beer tokens on it being one now given the amount of rust growing on it?? Lovely slick gearbox though? Just ashame it was made on a Friday night 5 mins before shift change....... And that's saying something from a fiat owner! :D

Anyways, happy motoring mercer, you've already experienced the best bits of fiat ownership :D

gadge, what size wheels and tyres are on yours on your picture.. your cars looking sweet dude (y)

You could try rolling the arches and getting a bigger drop if your fitting 18s, no ones really posted pictures on here of a rolled arch Stilo, think it would look sweet though

got alot of work to do already,
:bang::bang::bang::bang:rollin the arches :bang::bang::bang::bang:

aint got the patience lol
i already gotta respray her head to toe.. im stuck between full matted black with high gloss black stencil effects down the side

or matte red with matte black bonnet and roof

either way is gonna be dun using plastidip

You won't need to do that, there's loads of room under there, I've seen stilos with 18's on even lower than mine plus I've even heard of one on 19's!! the world is your oyster when it comes to wheels :D

Cool man, will need to wait till tomorrow now obviously :p

Or you know what you could do? You could ask nicely in a new thread to see if anyone will photoshop your car and post a picture up for them.

Someone made my car go from this:

To this:

So changing to a black bonnet will be a piece of cake for someone on here (y)

So the first year of using the tracking will cost £268, so you think you will save more than that over 12 months, or even 24? It might take 2 or 3 years before you start saving money with one of those :/

Do you have any no claims? If not I'd wait till your first year comes into play then see your sidcount and take it from there

my insurance is pretty high atm, im paying 180 a month atm which is discusting to say the least.

im calling fiat forums SKY insurance tomoro cos they have online quoted me 1300

works out around the 100 mark or so a month after deposit

im lucky my is IS 100% standard atm aswell. apart from a few stickers and a nodding dog on the parcel shelf .( wich obviosuly dont affect my insurance)

i need to get it as low as i can tbh.

Yeah I've seen the deal FF have with them it seems pretty good, I'm interested to get a quote once I'm running again to see if it's cheaper tah nme and my brothers car on Admiral Multicar. My renewal was just shy of £800 or £76 a month. That's after a 2.4k claim and my first years no claims kicking in.

well that went well. they woudlnt quote me as not been driving for 2 years. yet there website quoted me.. hmmm

never mind.

got it down to 134 a month via tesco car insurance.

i been looking at designs i like.

i quite like the euro look

however im not too sure about smoothing in them front bottom side vents..

£134 isn't bad if you've been driving under 2 years. My first car was an 05 Astra sxi 1.5 and that was nearly 1600 a year.

Just wait till your no claims kicks in ;)

I'm not too much much of a fan of completely smothing out car body parts, especialy the Stilo which lends itself to sharp lines. Though the smoothed boot looks awesome, if only it had a Schumi rear bumper on it and a hidden exhaust system.

im gonna smooth out the boot like the red one i posted above.
ino our stilos have boot popper button on the keyfob .. so id still be able to open it if i get rid of the boot open handle button .

how wud u lot reccomend i do it. pull the electrics out?
or just cover it all over and leave the electrics in there

and also

if i put the plate on the bottom of the back bumper like on the red pic above..

id need number plate lights..

might be a tad late but u could always cancel your new policy free within certain amount of days but anyways
i had a 1.6 and at 20 only cost me 600 for the year, 1 years no claims admiral multi quote, but the biggest difference was adding my parents as named drivers their combined experience dropped it by like £500 and on my new car 2.5litre adding them saved me £800....

p.s if your wanting some wheels i have some to list, 17" multispoke matt black loads tread on all for prob min 6mm, plus wobble bolts msg me if you want pic...
