Grande Punto what i have been doing over the past year.

Introduction

i first bought my car in feb 2009 (sorry about the pic (n))



this is what i have done so far:-




after a day or two i decided to spray the top grill which i am so glad i did (y) (sorry havent got a pic)



I then decided to buy an induction kit so i went fo a KnN (and yes i later found out they are POO :bang:)



and before you say it yes my engine did shrink when i was cleaning it lol



i decided then to get my windows tinted but i didnt just awant to get my fronts done so i decided to get 85% rear and 35% front



and they i wanted some alloys so i decided to get som 17" inovite wheels

but like a plank didnt think of getting it lowerd first :bang: lol




i de-wiperd my boot



i then got it lowerd on eibech sportlines




tinted my side repeaters




i then wanted to fit an adtermarket headunit and sub and amp so i started by removing my front seats to make it easyer to run the vibe RCAs and vibe flat high def speaker wires to the front speakers




i then fitted my pioneer head unit

i the fitted my vibe evo 2 12" enclosure

and my fusion 6x9's in my parsel shelf and ran them off a fusion amp

i later got my self a vibe line driver and a vibe power cap



i decided to spray my centre console gloss black instead of having it dark grey
and before people ask i no the heater dial sticker is missing because i had to replace it due to it loosing its stick and fell off



i then removed the vinyl off my doors to replace with the gloss vinyl that i still need to do aswell as my front grill


i got bord one day and decided to custom my own badge






decided to spray my scuttle pannel




i fitted front and rear vibe conponants and mounted tweeters in the B pillar

I love your white scuttle plate dude!!! Could you quickly explain the process and materials used as I want to do it to mine?

Also do you plan to do your wing mirror stalks too? As they are the same material and I'd like to see ow they look ;)

yes mate all i did was take the scuttle off there is two blots at ether side of the bonnet you will see them wen u lift the bonnet and look underneath, wen you have it off all you have to do is sand it down with some corse sandpaper i used 600 grit you need to sand untill nearly all the orange peal affect has gone then spray a few coats of white or grey primer and flat that back with 1500 grit wet and dry, wen it is nearly smooth wet the pannel then sand it again wet and it should go realy smooth, then dry the panel and use a few coats of white paint ( make shure you have got the exact paint i got mine from fiat)

...see abit of a business oppertunity here haha. I know id pay you to do mine, but I cant help but think the black surround looks wrong on white..? If you considered it i'll have the white back and black lettering, keeping the chrome surround please :D

ye deffo a buisness oppertunity i am doing his badge this weekend wen i get time he just posted me the badges paid me and told me the colour and wen i finish i post them back to him bet because i am working daft hours it mite take 1 or 2 weekends

if people want there badges doing it would be easyer if they sent them to me already in two peaces because then if you damage the badge taking it to pieces i carnt be blamed (y) i have just finised a front and rear badges for someone on here. if anyone else wants theres doing let me no and we will discuss a price and if you want pictures posting to your profile as the badges are being done that will also be fine. i could also do diffrent colours but this will take abit longer to do as i have to get the diffrent paints
 
i have decided to experiment with diffrent colours for my wing mirrors

i got abit bord of having white wing mirrors so i bought some black ones for cheap and decided to spray them diffrent colours i so far have sprayed them florecent orange next is kawazaki green then maby blue i no it looks abit daft but i wanted it to look abit different (y)


fergot to mention i am also spraying the wing mirror bases gloss black and i have also smothed all of the lines out and the writing underneath

i have nearly painted my mirror caps florecent orange and smothed and painted my mirrors gloss black all i have to do is laqour (y)

:yum: nice car mate loving those badges - vimto Rolf might be able to learn a thing or two about painting badges lol

what's next then, you going to get your wheels painted now ? Orange would look pretty cool lol
