'R' FIAT MAREA 2.0HLX

I need a new ABS pump as my ABS light remains on and have had it checked and the mechanic said it was the pump. Whereabouts is it located in the engine? Anyone got any pics? Have asked a few scrapyards for the part and contacted a few people who are breaking theirs up.

Open the bonnet and just behind the battery there is a cylinder type metal and plastic box with metal pipes coming out of it, thats the ABS pump.

Yes, I´ve got actually same problem wiht my Marea Weekend -97 1.8. There is a electric motor what uses that hydraulic pump in ABS unit. In my car that electric motor is jammed and if i don´t get that electric motor to work i must order the entire ABS unit and it will be cost me about 2000€, in that case. So WD-40 and some electric cleaning spray is about to be used with that electric motor
