Hi I have a problem with my Marea 1.8 elx 1998 front wipers. I have searched the forums and could not find any info to help me.
My problem is that i don't have any intermittent wipers also i don't have the single wipe, in both these positions the wipers just run at normal speed and won't stop. Also the wipers occasionally start to work themselves and won't stop. This problem is driving me crazy. I put the car into the local garage who couldnt fix it but they thought the motor and the control stalk were ok and said it was probably a relay problem.
Has anyone got any ideas on what could be causing this malfunction.
All help will be really really really appreciated.

I dont have a very good knowledge of Mareas (yet...) but i'd say its either a relay or a control stalk... you could probably get both at a reasonable price from someone breaking a marea - would probably cost you less than an hours labour for an electrician to check it.
