Further to my request for help in https://www.fiatforum.com/showthread.php?t=33964 I have removed the motor & mechanism from the door, applied power across the terminals, and seen that nothing happens. It seems therefore that I need to buy a new electric window winder motor (though why it should suddenly fail when working perfectly until that point is a mystery to me).

Does anybody know a good place to buy an electric window winder motor for a Marea?

Meanwhile the window is held shut with a short length of timber!

I got mine from a bloke breaking one on ebay, he was stripping a whole car.
