Hi, I'm writing in a friends name, he has a problem with a back wiper tripping mechanism relay or how you call it....someone told him its not the motor but a contact on this relay...and he needs to solder it or something...I know electronics, but dont like to mess with other peoples things before someone tells me what to do

Does someone know what I'm talking abbout and can help? Maybe this is a common fault of somekind or...

it is a common problem, you usually need to grease the motor, but in some cases you need to repalce it or at least replace the electrical part (the PCB). also check the rear wash hose is still connected, as these often come off and squit water on the motor, that is the main cause of this problem.

OK, we solved the problem.

It was a poor contact on the relay, where you plug the wires...there are 3 contacts, we solder the broken one, and its working like a charm

@jug there is no way a hose can squirt water on the motor, its on the upper side...only option is that the water pours on the iner side of the glass and somehow finds a way into the motor
