Oh, I see, well at least the other members on here know that they can always give them a go if they can pay in one go!

I have sympathy steve.

Can anyone suggest an answer to the following? I am not going to phone churchill because it isn't exactly a massive question of mine. However, when I got my insurance, on the policy it shows that I have a 45 day green card for free. As I understand it, this is TP for driving in most of the EU...correct?

On my printed policy, it shows what parts of the booklet doesn't apply to me, such as "2c" or something which is "You are not allowed to drive cars other than that on your policy", apparently this is because I am too young. However, for the green card it isn't shown as an exception and therefore I am coming around to the idea that I am allowed to use the green card. Does anyone know otherwise? I.e. because I am only 18?

I won't ask Churchill because it is fairly unlikely that I will go to Europe this year in my Uno but, well, you know, it is nice to feel you have the choice. Obviously I would confirm with them if i decided to go but wondered if any of you guys/girls had anything to say about it?

Regards
Paul

Ours wasn't much different - the wife (27) is main driver with me (30) as named driver. Tesco came out best for us at £280 Fully comp with all the bells and whistles.

Stilo TURBO!!!!(diesel)

Steve, do you reckon the extra high premiums are justified (from an unbiased POV), or are insurances companies just clutching at straws to rip you off?

I suspect the later:(

Stilo TURBO!!!!(diesel)

When I changed from a Brava to a Stilo my premium went down the Stilo was £275 and the Brava was £375, the Stilo is Group 5 and the Brava was Group 10 insurance, yet the Brava was worth £2000 when I sold it the Stilo £10,000, work that one out!

The Stilo is in a very low group, thats true! I was going to get the new Punto HGT Multijet, thats in group 9 and its only 100bhp:(

I'm sure the Punto 1.2 16v A. Sport is group 6? I might be wrong tho

The Stilo is a low gruop because it's secure, safe and stylish! ;)
