New Bravo (03-2007)

Here two pics of the new Bravo.
It'll be introduced in March 2007 and will replace the Stilo.

what a stunnnnneeeerrr wow can i have it now bring it on!!!!!

Re: New Bravo (03-2007)

yes merge all the threads just like fiat are merging all their cars. its not a bravo its a grande punto pie-eater edition. if you havent debadged your bravo already DO IT NOW! the name is about to be associated with a fat GP. i dont know who's making the decisions in italy but they must be over 65, fat and have loads of kids. certainly not the arrogant greasy haired prick who designed my beautiful mk1 bravo. that guy must have been fired before the stilo, what a big mistake.

true, resistance to change in natural but you have to get on with it. i'm sure it'll grow on me by the time they replace it. then again i liked the bravo from new, and the mk1&2 puntos.

the strada is better than all of them, if they still made them i'd have one over any recent fiat. just look at them

what a beauty, its got style, aggression, flair, what more could you want.

no the clothes and music were awful, but i like the money-power attitude of the 80's.

i dont want climate control, or anything electrical. i want a go-kart thats water proof. power steering and abs is for girls. fuel injection is a waste of time. twin carbs (water heated) are what i want. basic mechanical cars were great to drive (if you know how to drive) rarely break and are easy to fix. thats what i want, is that really so old fashioned? i'm not keen to see the day when a computer decides how my steering and braking will work (drive by wire) but its coming very soon. i wont buy one, just watch me. silly computerised junk, imagine how often you'll have problems when they double the complexity of car electronics, they cant even get it right now with basic feedback sysems. limp home mode is going to be the norm one day. especially if you own a fiat

Then why buy a bravo? ABS? PAS? ECU? AIR BAG? ELECTRIC WINDOWS? CENTRAL LOCKING (REOMTE?)? HEATERS?...

Why not buy a strada? just like the bravo they are no longer built?

Re: New Bravo (03-2007)

if i could buy a 1998 strada with 60k i would, but they stopped making real cars some time ago so thats not possible. stradas will be high milage, rusty and very tired by now because they're all so old. its not the car thats the problem, just the age of them. i'm stuck with modern rubbish.

true, i plan to buy a 1985 series1 rs turbo as soon as possible, but my license wont be clean for another 2 years so it aint happening till then. then you'll see me broken down on the roadside every week and you can come and laugh at me. lol

Change is a good thing nothing to be afraid of! If things didnt change then we'd all be driving 3 box design cars with steam engines!!

I like it! (y)

I like 3 box design cars with steam engines, that's why I'm rebuilding my MK2 Cortina and dropping in a 16V V***hall twin cam from a Calibra!

160bhp standard, RWD and as lightweight as possible should equal some fun!

Me too.. My first car was a mk5 Corblimey.. I'd still love to drop saphire cosworth running gear into one!! But with two kids I just dont get the time or the £'s.

Corblimey

lol @ corblimey. do you remember that tv advert "Cor a cortina" with loads of typical british people saying 'cor!' when the cortina drives past. great stuff
