cant see bonnet atall while driving seems to make it difficult:mad:

i cant see the car in my car either, or in my dads mpv

only in old cars with stright bonnets do you get to see it

you just learn where it ends as you drive it

got to say most modern cars the bonnet slopes a lot, the a pillars are at really low angles (to prevent the passenger compartment distorting and shearing so much in accidents), the dashboards are massive etc.

850kg punto = pain in the ass to park, can't tell where it ends in any direction so can never claim the last few inchs;)
1750kg volvo estate = dream to park, its like driving a cereal packet!!!!:D better turning lock that any punto aswell so can make light work of most carparks!!

I can see the front of my Volvos bonnet and where the boot ends.. the Mk1 Punto was easy to work out where the back was just give it 20cm more than you can see the through the back of the car..

I think having straighter flatter sheets of glass around you and steeper angles makes things lot less decetive.
drove a granda punto on launch day and when I parked it there was abotu 3ft more left at the front and about 4ft at the back!!!!! just couldn't tell where it was! they even have quarter lights on the front to aid parking!!!

bring back boxy vehicles

or better still buy me one of these 7000USD for a new one with bling chrome bits:devil:
