How comes the Twinair pandas are selling for so little second hand in comparison to the 1.2 or the 1.3???

Was the whole Twinair experience unsuccessful for fiat does anybody know?

I've heard of no faults or issues Twinair related .... especially one as big as that

I can't find anything relating to reliability issues but lots of people saying that its quite a difficult engine to live with every day as you have to drive it very hard which then kills the much vaunted fuel economy.

I think it's a leaning curve , due to the feel of the engine you 'think' you need to rev the nuts off it to get moving. Even knowing this I find myself flooring it just for the sound of the exhaust lol

the solenoid on the inlet side is @£1000 from FIAT in the Multiair GP's

oil spec. is apparently crucial..that's why mine is solely on Selenia

as the units become more commonplace out of warranty, I'm sure
re manufactured ones will appear on the market

other longer term issues will be the cam-chain , and the DualMassFlywheel

although of course access should be much better on a Twin than the 1.3 Diesel engine for example. ;)
