At this rate, they are expecting to be at Marble Arch some time after 17:00 on Monday. Although they have the snow in northern Italy to deal with next - on Egyptian tyres.

They are approaching Messina, as I write these lines.

Two questions:
1. Yesterday night the clock said that they have 2 days and 2 hours to beat the record. Right now, ti counts 2 days and 4 hours!!! How's that possible, 12 hours later?

2. From Sicily to Italy main land, do they have to catch another ferry?

I'm not sure what might have happened with the Javascript clock, but the MaxAdventure record was 11d, 14h, 11m.

They take another ferry at Messina, which appears to sail every 40 minutes.

Problems with snow on the A3 in Italy caused them to be diverted to the east coast, and they are now ahead of schedule. The Panda is now in France.

Everyone is invited to Marble Arch – 5.30pm – Monday Feb 11th. Come and cheer Philip Young & Paul Brace when they drive their remarkable Fiat Panda under Marble Arch at the end of their epic 10,000 mile drive.

At 16:05 they came out of the tunnel, and must be looking good for a 17:30 to 18:00 finish - taking a day off the record.

They made it!

Congrats to all involved in this historic accomplishment!!!

I think that car needs to go into a museum somewhere.

I can't believe that there's nothing about it on the FIAT UK website or on fiat dot com. Something like that could be a nice little boost for Panda sales in the near term if they would promote it.
