With thanks to Andy (SCAMPCAT) I picked up an X1/9 today, for free!!! I popped down to get it, stuck it on the trailer and dragged it home with my BMW. Tomorrow the fun begins. I cant decide wether to completely finish the stripdown thats half begun, or rebuild 1st to see whats there and what works etc. It needs some bodywork but doesnt look rotten underneath, looks great in yellow too. And yes those are Lancia Cromadora alloys!

Even though you say it needs work, for a car of that age, the bodywork looks almost mint!

Good color for an X. If you run into anything odd and need to ask someone there is a guy in the states that does well racing a X1/9 as well as restores them that may be of help. He's a good guy I buy parts from him.
