Had a baby daughter born yesterday morning, she has a German mother, a French grandmother and will be travelling in an Italian car, a true European.

Expect me to be posting threads asking for advice.

Thanks guys, piccy's to be sorted. Called her Catherine Isabelle and weighed in at 3.5kg. Sussed out the nappies I make a complete balls up so the missus takes over:D

Anyway, it was a home delivery, delivery and the midwives were fantastic and the missus is up and about as if nothing happened.

Oops, babies crying so have to kick the missus:devil:

Congratulations (y)

Nice name choices too so congrats again, very classical names (y)

Midwife delivery at home would suggest that there must be other children as they don't usually like to do that for the first

Glad you like the names, we wanted something classical without being trendy middle class. As for the home birth it is Stef's second but that was a while ago and as we're both over 40, the pregnancy was treated as a risk by the hospital. It was the midwifes idea for the homebirth, nice chap, so laid back and made the missus feel so relaxed. He was absolutely superb and I can't praise him enough. Would recommend home birth for the 'Birth Partners' as well.
