Ok here we go with a quick tour of Hartlepool! Since Hartlepool is on the coast I make no apology for lots of sea photos!

We have a Subway but its in Northumberland apparantly

The view looking out to sea from the Town Wall.

The view over Hartlepool Bay towards Redcar from my parents house.

And now for some photo's from the events of 16th December 1914. Quite an important date for Hartlepudlians and especially for people from the Headland area.

Not worked out which house this is but its in my street! Could even be mine! Damage caused when the Germans decided we needed more round metalic objects than we already had.

The rear of a house in my street. Hope that one wasn't mine!!

if it's where i was born then it would be pix of a giant industrial complex, the hospital is in the middle of it!!!

if it's where i grew up...well take your pick, first 5 years was southall, wembley, birmingham, leicester, manchester, liverpool, wembley (dads work was a bit mobile!!)

but the rest has been harrow, which i consider home

btw how cool is that 3rd photo hellcat?!

Its a cool pic aint it? Parents have a fantastic house. Its a 1 sided street with a war memorial on the other side. So there is no chance of anything ever being built to block their view of the sea. With winter coming I think I'll be able to get some pics of heigher splashes than that. Unless I'm moved out into my new house by then :D

Oh and their house is MASSIVE! Couldn't imagine how much it would cost if it was down south!

Dont joke about that! My house currently doesn't have any water or heating, we only have lights on the ground floor and have 1 socket!

Havn't found any UXB's in the garden yet but there is always the risk. Have found a cobble street going across the garden so I think I've found my new patio :D
