You have missed the 2 minutes silence to remember the people who died as a result of the london bombings...

Stood outside my house, everyone came out of their houses, pub filed out, cars taxis and everything came to a standstill. Only noise was someones car radio with news on so we knew the timing. Even kids were quiet.

Very moving.

Everyone in our office went outside - very subdued. Noon - all the buses turned off their engines and so did some people in cars. Not a voice to be heard though. Not quite as quiet as 9/11 but still very moving and upsetting.

They won't win though.

We did - everyone at the office went outside (as did other buildings in the area) and all the traffic had stopped, etc. It was very well respected and observed - hardly a noise.

I did it with the golf on BBC- it was a lot more organised than the silence at the GP last weekend.
