To be fair, some them are just polish it, stick some new lights on it and fix a niggly problem before flogging it on.

As I recall the guy who sold the car to the program in the first place was the one who bought it at the end of the episode, he was rather enthusiastic about the new look.
Personally I don't like it but then that's a personal thing, there are plenty of people who will buy a car like that and love it

Passing 120000km in the Punto with today's 600km trip, but then the engine light decided to come on 10kms before passing the 120000km.. Will do a readout tomorrow, see what's going on.

Frantic phone call from the Mrs while I was out running, "Steve, the bottom of my car has fallen off" "What?!? How?!" "I was just driving along, hit a kerb and it's fallen off" edited bit where she describes where she is "OK stay put and I'll have a look, I'm going now...I've got a mile to run back to my car" Anyway sprinted home got into my car got there within half hour which considering I'd run a mile and driven 4 wasn't bad...She'd clipped a sill cover on a high kerb and being French it's not screwed in just push fasteners all the way along and the rear was dragging on the road. So I get to arrive and look manly fixing it in 30 seconds.
On a side note I hope the bloke from the lease company is blind when the come to pick it up...

Might still show up though. I once ordered some CD's from Australia - after 2 months they hadn't showed up. CD's were shipped again, and showed up within two weeks. Then a week or so later the first shipment also arrived.. So, keep your fingers crossed

This is true. I ordered a hammock and got it 6 months later!
What's made me grumpy but not smile - finally got my radio out to see if I could fit a new auxillary input to the back. I found two types of radio, 1 it would work with, 1 it wouldn't. I've got a third type never mentioned. derp.

I had a silly thought earlier. Put a deposit down on a newer car than my usual run abouts. Send my P60 off to my employer so the £180 a month tax difference can be used to pay the installments. That way I won't notice any difference and have a boring, soulless, conformist, dreary, anonymous, autocad designed, pile of plastic that needs a laptop instead of spanners to fix.
