i have been speaking to some of my mates, and ryan and john (gay couple) both have pandas, as do steve and ian (another gay couple), ian even has a pink panda parade .

so what i was wondering is if the panda is becoming a gay symbol???

EDIT - only joking, i just have alot of different friends, 1 indian, a couple of black friends, and a few gay friends, plus i am still friends with my old girlfriends.

nar tis not gay (except the pink ones) black suziki 4x4s are official gay cars, may be your gay mates are too poor to afford proppa gay cars.

...I'm gay and I've got 3 of them! (pandas not boyfriends, there's not than many people in the world that can put up with me!) but I don't do Kylie or gay bars (remember the wetherspoons thread!) so I'm not really the culture spokesman for the gay community....

To be honest I don't think they'er gay cause most gay guys are obsessed by 'Macho' and would'nt be seen dead in a panda. Hence the black jeep 4x4 in 'queer as folk' etc

i live in a very multi cultural area, so i get alot of different friends. accross the road lives an italian woman with her black american husband. we have some asylum seekers living down the road (canny couple, nice kids). and there is a few different shops around the area owned by - chinese, indian, black, white, etc, etc. and many different religions (muslim, christian, jewish, wicca, etc, etc. the reason i have gay friends, is because during my teens i thought i was gay, and have kept these friends ever since, unlike other people i see all people (black, white, straight, gay, etc) as the same, we are just humans trying to get through life the best way we can (and with the most fun ).

Damn you and your and your PC lifestyle and your do gooding. We the gays take over the world you'll be the first up against the firing squad.....

Personally I couldn't care less if the Panda is percieved as a gay car. Yesterday at the Castlewellan Show I overheard a group of boyracers pointing at the 2 Pandas and 126 and saying, "that's the gay stand". I just laughed and didn't comment on it at the time in case it offended Jim. I doubt it would have though. If they want to be small minded and idiotic that's their problem. I'll drive whatever the hell I want to drive.

i also have friends who are lesbians, and they still cant believe i am not trying to get a threesome unlike other guys.
