A reasonable offer, but the last time I tried Pizza Hut it tasted of nothing but cheap, rancid animal fat. I had to brush my teeth and use mouthwash after I threw most of it in the bin. And even that didn't get rid of the taste for ages.

Do you actually enjoy eating there?

Dominos are better for takeaways, and you get BOGOF on collection any day, or BOGOF delivered on a Tuesday.

All pizzas are a rip-off though, as they're just a slab of bread with a few bits and bobs chucked on.

Just out of interest when was the last time you ate there? They've had a massive overhaul of the last 6months or so.

Everytime I eat at my local one I get the runs the next day....

The final line made me LOL. Is that a recommendation?

I last ate there about a couple of years ago. Before that it was about five years before. It generally takes about five years for me to get over the trauma and try them again.

The thing is, I remember them being amazing when I was a lad (1980s). I don't think my taste has changed that much, more likely the accountant managers are filling them with cheap crap instead of decent meat.

the pizza they have now are better than before. you dont get unlimited free salad at take-away places like Dominos

I prefer a bag of flour, a bit of olive oil, yeast, a tin of tomatoes, garlic, herbs, some cheese and whatever toppings I fancy. Preferably freshly harvested from the garden.

Fresh, crispy and not dripping in grease. And about a tenth of the price.
