after slicing my finger open, you'd think there wasn't much more i could do in the house to self-inflict pain........

guess again, it appears the simple at was walking from one room to another is quite bad too.......

to say it hurt was an understatement......the pull back into shape by the a&e dr, was.......intresting:cry::cry::cry::cry:

So how come this year you have turned into a walking disaster ?

Did the same thing myself, walking down the stairs carrying son. Slipped on the last step, little toe got hooked on the stair gate and bent back. Had no choice but to let it happen otherwise I may have dropped our son.

I put mine back in place myself and didn't bother to go to hospital. Few weeks later it started to twist in the wrong direction. Happened to be at the doctor so asked him about it and he said it had been broken and it was too late to straighten it. He suggested that I seek professional advice in future rather than DIY repair.
 
Might I suggest you let someone else drive on your next treble 9 run. Better still, a 6 month spell in Custody might do it. Er, I meant as Custody Officer, not actually in Custody.....although on second thoughts.....better safe than sorry.

Isn't it generally believed that bad things come in threes? Now let's see, sharp knife - cut hand, door frame - broken toe, 1400kg BMW at high speed - ??

Or put another way, for minor injuries there's easily available household objects - For death and mutilation there's always BMW. Priceless!
 
Jai, as of tomorrow night I'm the keeper of a K reg bmw 320i coupe until it sells. If you want a cheap automatic car let me know.

And stay away from stuff that catches fire. :D

i feel your pain- about 10 years ago i did the same but with my big toe and also shattered my toe nail so i had blood everywhere.

then 6 months later i had to have an operation to reduce the size of my toe nail as it didnt heal and ingrew all over the show
