a mate rang me up a few weeks ago to tell me about this amazing new way to use water as fuel for your car, and 2 of his mates at work were using it already and it definately gave them 40% better fuel economy. he wanted me to help him fit it to his car.
i laughed so hard i honestly did a little wee in my pants. i cant believe so few people are aware of this scam consdiering how many years its been doing the rounds.
i also cant believe so few people listened to a god damn thing at school. first year GCSE chemistry everyone is taught about brown's gas, and the only law of brown's gas is that it requries more energy to produce than you get back from the gas, so it is a net loss. obviously that means these wonderful scams will actually reduce your mpg.
and then there are the people who think they have just discovered a well kept secret than no one in the motor industry has figured out or used on production cars. how bloody naive can you get? do you really think every manufacturer wouldnt be using it if it worked?
and then the really unforgivable ignorance is when people hear about it, fit it, swear it works, all without doing any research at all. 5mins of reading will prove that it cant work, very basic scientific principles show that is true beyond any doubt. that is very well know and very well publicised, so there are no excuses unless you have severe learning difficulties.
