Put Your flippin' Lights On! Is it time daytime running lights are introduced in UK?

Is it me or do more and more ignornt people seem to be driving around in poor driving conditions with just side/parking lights, or even worse none?

Lights are an essential must have in bad weather conditions just like they are at night, so why do people still drive around without them on.

I always have mine on, and never turn them off. I leave them to go on and off with the ignition even on the brightest of days like Volvos and others cars because I believe it does help other people to see me!

Should day time running lights become law in the UK just like it is in Sweden and other countries?

I know what you mean I seen a couple today in quite thick fog with just sidelights . But what I hate more is people who turn their fogs on or leaving them on after fog when its clear .

And then you get those who change their bulbs and put the new one in at the wrong angle so it dazzles everyone oncoming.

Coming back from shopping in early December and there was this dumb b*tch in a merc with no lights on at all at 6.30pm! Took about 20 flashes of the lights to get her to put them on.

I just leave my lights on AUTO and then put fog lights/high beam when needed.

Don't you mean I don't bother with side/parking lights? Dipped headlights is what you normally use, unless you go around with your main/high beam on all the time, lol.
