enough to "blow the bladdy roof orf"?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/south_west/7151906.stm

Fire officers revealed the full extent of the damage to the sisters' house in Old Castle Road.

They said there was a "significant gas explosion" in the rear first-floor bedroom.

"The explosion was strong enough to severely damage the internal bedroom walls and ceiling, blow out the glass from the double-glazed bedroom window and also blow out the double-glazed window in the downstairs kitchen.

During a fingertip search of the bedroom investigators found and removed a large number of pressurised aerosol canisters for possible further evaluation."

don't these kids learn from history....

Me and a mate once filmed a full can of Right Guard being thrown onto a bonfire.

You would seriously be suprised at just how big a fireball just one can creates. Baring it mine that the bonfire was in a contained metal container (open at the top), I really wouldnt want to have been anywhere near it if it were an open explosion

Will try and find the video but it was about 5 years ago.

we used to get a big box if tissues, set it on fire, then stuff a big can of lynx (or 2 or 3) in it, then someone would jump on the can and BOOM! i once burnt my eyebrows and eyelashes off compeltely because the flames come up so high. happy days.

another favorite was blowing up a baloon using a can of lynx then making an unsuspecting victim hold it while someone else ignited it from behind. flameball bonanza!

Thats not really Michael Jackson (and i have a feeling that was staged) :p

I know i know

"Fire chiefs have dismissed rumours gas hair straighteners or curling tongs caused the explosion and blaze."

"investigators found and removed a large number of pressurised aerosol canisters"

"significant gas explosion"

Wonder if they were having a sniffing session as they couldn't get any Lambrini?

Well you should all see a Gas Cannister on a Bonfire we put one on a bonfire we had on the beach once. All would have been good if we hadnt built the fire near the cliffs boooom went the cannister down came the cliff.

That reminds me of another experiment we had in a cave. We decided to get a large gas cannister cram it in a small part of a cave that takes a good couple of minutes to get in and out of then we attached some small explosives to it and opened it a little so it slowly leaked out. We then started to make our exit with a roll of Miniature Rocket fuse attached to the explosives as were about half way out the cave it sets off. We clearly didnt think about the signal from the ships radios setting it off luckily our plan didnt work and there was no big explosion otherwise we would have been in trouble.
