just been offered a LG U970 Shine for my mobile contract upgrade from three, has anyone got his phone? what it like etc..

Yep, I get comments like "That's a nice phone!" almost everyday

Usability is friendly, photo quality is also surprisingly good, dropped it a few times and no signs of brain damage. Downside is, unless you use a phone pouch, the backside will get severely scratched from day 1.

thanks for that, ive decided to got for the nokia 6288 instead as the LG looks a bit of a girlie phone

I don't think it is, but then again it comes down to personal taste/style + its your money/choice.
