Has anyone got a LG Renoir ?

The Jury is out at the moment Jon,

I'm still trying to get used to it, it has some great features but there foibles :bang:

1 example is that they give you a stylus, in a little cute case, but there is nowhere on the phone where you can attach the case of stylus :bang::bang:

It could do with a case, and a proper 3.5mm headphone jack rather than the propriety connection but it's not bad and I got a decent deal on it.

Thanks Trev (y)

Does the Stylus come in a phone Jem sort of case? A small tube thing? Just my Friend has a touch screen LG (5MP) not sure on the model, that has a stylus which attaches to the phone like a phone gem. Not the biggest of fans of that myself.

Does the stylus need to be used of are fingers good enough?

Jon.

Jon,

Here's the case, stylus and phone so you can see them together.

In most cases you can use your finger (providing it's not too fat) but for scrolling the stylus can help with the thin slider bar.

I must say I was amazed that they give you a 8gb mem card for the beast (y)

Many thanks Trev (y)

Yeah, sort of what I thought it was. So other than that, its a fairly reasonable phone then is it. Whats battery life like?

Too early to tell mate, I've had the phone connected to the PC for file transfers and that's kept it charged.

You can get Google Maps and Amazegps for sat nav.

If you want to play it through the TV you will need a cable - @£15 incuding postage.

I've a case on order from fleabay

Cool Cool.

How long have you had it out of interest?

EDIT: Just seem 'Oh cack thread. lol.

hehehheheheheheh

I'm going to be like a walking mobile phone shop next week

My old HTC Tytn, the Renoir and the company's 24/7 phone.

Believe it or not the Renoir didn't appear to be locked, I plugged my T-Mobile sim in and it worked fine, that made transferring numbers easier, thanks O2:D

there is somehwere to attatch the stylus!
top left hand corner, its hidden as its on the black plastic casing that runs round the middle of the phones edge(y)

I have an LG viewty (is that the model you was thinking of MEP? it has 5mp camera) you tie the stylus onto a bar on it, but i have lost 3 stylus pens using this crappy method, i have given up buying anymore now. Rather than tie it they should have made a hole in phone so you can slide it down side of phone and click it into place or something similar like that

Nice phone but will definately be getting one with buttons next time.

Yea, thats the one.

Right, went into CPW the other day to have a play with the Renoir and Pixon.

I thought I'd made my mind up through playing, and it was the Pixon, but I've now compaired to two spec wise on line and the Renoir comes out on top all round spec wise.

What do I do  :bang:
