Hi, There is probably already a thread about this but ah well.
I was bascily just wandering if anyone knows of a really good insurence company that give really good deal for young drivers. I'm 17 and all the ones i can find atm are fairly expensive.

Thanks

Thanks harrison1980 for that site.

Unfortunatly insurance companies like that dont exist. we all wish we could get cheap insurance at a young age on nice fast cars but it does happen m8. best bet is to go under your mum or dads insurance untill your older. (y)

that doesn't help cr@zy.

I did that for my first year, was with direct line and NO it didn't give me a 'NCB's' like they advertise on TV, just a 'incentive, i.e 10% off like you get online anyway

what does help is putting a good job title in. I'm a 19yr old company sectretary, my part time is a retail assistant and I'm an undergrad at uni.

Tis all true and I have paycheques to proove.

Save's me just over £300 in my 2nd year of driving on my own insurance (been 2.5 years now).

Also, if you haven't got any elaborate titles, try putting one of your parents (mother is a better bet as apparently women crash less  ) as a named driver, it might actually reduce your overall premium;)

did for me last year. but this year, not worth it as being the company secretary for my mothers business is abuot as good as it gets.

i only got car insurance in my own name aged 25. saved me a few thousand over the years, and once you're 25 its cheap with or without NCB.

done get banned, thats the real way to keep your premiums down, trust me i know.
