insuring second cars.

I am about to buy a second car and obviously it will need to be insured.

Do i just add it to my existing policy or do i need to have a second policy.

The car in question is a group 6, value approx 1k, 2000 miles PA. To be added to my existing policy for a group 7 punto sporting (i currently pay £450 a year).

How much would it add to my policy?

Some companys will let you add a second car on to your policy. others will not.

In which case you would need a wholle new policy and if you have any no cliams you will not be able to use them on the second car, as you can only use your no claims on 1 policy.

I have the same problem at the moment.

as for price, well it all depends on lots of things, you would be best speaking to your insurance company.

Depends on the insurance company I have two policies and the max no claims from one car is applied to the other
