My niece has just brought a 1.4 6 speed. All the other gears are fine but you have to really force it over for reverse. I've looked at linkages but there appears to only be two cables so thought that would affect the other gears.
If no one has any other ideas then I'm thinking reverse inhibitor or as long shot reverse switch getting in the way.

Reviving an old thread as we cant get reverse at all now. Checked the gear selector and this clears the wall but the lever is really hard to move over. Cables all seem ok. Does this have an inhibitor on the gearbox itself like mk1 punto does? Also are the gearboxes the same as any other models?
