The one and only code for fiat radio thread.

Iv'e just noticed that the 10 digit number I gave you is repeated on the top of the unit. However, there is another 10 digit number below this.
The 7646322316 I gave you is a BP Nr. The other Nr is a Fiat Nr 7354362390.
Could this be the issue?

No... the code is calculated from the 12 digit BP serial number. The 10 digit numbers are just the Blaupunkt and Fiat part numbers for the radio.

How are you entering the code?

What does the display show before, during and after entering the code?

The display firstly asks for the code, only for a second or there abouts. Then four dashes appear. I then used the number buttons below to enter the code, ie, button No 2 for 2, and so on!

Wait!
Again it probably makes no difference, but the main code I gave was the stamped in one. The label shows an addtional three digits at the start:
815BP632261751126.

I am so sorry to have wasted your time, the code is incorrect, because I gave you the wrong last digit. Should be a 6 not 5! It is:
BP632261751126
Sorry again.

No problem.

Your code is: 1211

You'll need to leave the radio and ignition switched on until the display shows " CODE " then " - - - - ". Then enter the correct code.

Does anyone have a code for a blaupunkt stereo with the serial number starting BP1376?
Thanks

For cars with canbus, radio code is also stored in ecu,the code in the head unit and the ecu have to match up for the headunit to fire up.
You can how ever, change the code held in the ecu [dealer] that matches the code for the new head unit.
All the code generaters in the world wont make any radio work on can bus unless the ecu code is the same[ stops the scum nicking your stereo getting a code for it---very easy to get, and selling on]
this is only applicable to can bus system.
Nb. When or if you diconnect you battery, you will not need a code to get your head unit to work, canbus talks to h/unit,talks to ecu,and if they are paired up you h/unit works, this happends evrey time you turn on the ignition
