I'm doubtful for the "80" marked above, it also seems like 30,36,86. Hope my serial number isn't invalid. The sticker with the serial number has faded & is smudged.

The serial number should be stamped into the metal side of the radio.

30 = 3653

Will confirm once i punch it in. I'm also facing another issue. My stereo says "Radio blocked/wait" there is no change at all. i've waited for around 80-90 mins with the key in & the ignition on, but no request for code. The car which i have is a used car, & the previous owner had sold it to me with the radio in blocked condition. Just wanted to know--if the radio is permanently blocked, then does it display something else instead of "radio blocked/wait". Also if i need to wait, then please tell me as to what would be the maximum time. Also what is the process to punch it in? thanks again.

Waiting time depends on how many times an incorrect code has been entered as shown in the table below. If you are guessing at which of the 4 codes I posted is correct, you could be increasing the waiting time. Better to check the serial number stamped into the side of the radio so you know which is the correct code.

You need to leave the radio and ignition switched on until the display shows " CODE " then " - - - - " then enter the code by pressing the appropriate numbered buttons. e.g. If the code is 3564, press button 3, then 5, then 6, then 4. You don't need to press any more buttons to accept the code.

Thanks Davren. Also, does the display message on the radio change from "radio blocked/wait" if it gets permanently blocked? Cuz i've waited for almost 5 hours now, nd still no code request from this thingy. Am guessing for the worst, but hoping for the best.

Sorry... I'm not familiar with the Grande Punto radio. Just looked in the handbook, there's no mention of it showing "Radio Blocked/Wait"

You have posted the Blaupunkt and Fiat part numbers for the radio, you need to post the serial number. For your radio it will be something like BPX383XXXXXXXX and may be stamped into the side of the radio.
