Wife has a new Doblo, but it has 2 irritaing fetures which I would like advice on.
1. Cannot run radio without ignition switched on.
2. Wehn ignition is switched off audio unit resets itself to very low volume.

Have looked in the handbooks for solutions to both, with no luck. Any suggestions, please?

John

There should be a red and a yellow wire, if you connect both of these together and then to the battery, It will mean you have constant power to the stereo, so no memory loss of volume/ eq setup and you can listen with the engine off.

BTW, this will invalidate warranty, so visit your local dealer if u are unsure...

1. It sounds like Fiat designed it to be like that. You'll have to have the key in the ignition to use the radio.

2. You may have to program the volume control into the radio in the same way you program the radio stations. Don't quote me on that though.

If you decide to get it looked at, and its still under warranty, then take it to your dealer as it'll invalidate your warranty. (y)
