Hi all,
Basically ive got £250 to spend on a new stereo would just like to hear some recommnedations on what peeps have etc.
I do want something with amp/sub capabilities and a mp3 connection, so all and any advice would be much appreciated.
Also quick qustion, depending on what i get will i have to get one of them stupid stereo surround adaptor fingies???

Thanks much, Dan

okay, got meself the fascia surround, where would i get the steering control adaptor?
R u recommending all alpine or have you got specifics??

I would recomend alpine for the head unit but i am running a full vibe system other than that e.g. Qb69s (square 6x9s), vibe a1 amp, vibe slick 6.5in door speakers and vibe cbr 12 inch active sub 1kw rms o ye:slayer:. So far touching wood i have found vibe to be very reliable and the subs are just savage.

Savage compared to what? Vibe are a budget brand.

The loudest.com, mutant, ripspeed, toxic and fli (whitch is a sub devision of vibe and is in effect a "budget" version of vibe). Althought vibe isn't as good as say JL you also arn't paying JL's prices its like the middle ground.
I got quoted £190 for a set of 6.5 inch coaxel JLs where as vibe do a set of there 6.5 inch black air speakers for £70. Or i can go and buy a set of ripspeeds for £30 whitch are budget speakers.
Vibe offers exerlant sound quality, punchy powerfull bass and reliability. Unlike brands like toxic that are made to look pritty so that chavs can show there massive lime green subs off in the boots of there decked saxos with a 5 inch exhaust.
