i have 2x 6.5 inch fusion powerplant
2x 6x9 fusion powerplant speakers
I've taken them from my old car and want to install them on my new stilo 3 door cus the speakers just arent in the same league! i was wondering how easy it is to get the door and rear panels off to simply replace the current speakers in the same place and also i dont know the standard speaker sizes so wud mine fit ( the 6x9 in the rear). If anyone knows how to fit them easily or has any advice on how to do it this would be much appreciated.
i dotn wana rush into anything and ruin it like i kinda did my old car!

cheers aaron

As Bozzy says above, I did mine using the guide it's a clumbsy job getting the seats out took about 2 hours start to finish but I did find a few quid under the rear seat which payed for a couple of beers after doing the job. (y)
as for fitting the speakers I removed the plastic speaker surround cut the old speaker out and screwed my speakers into the plastic ( had to cut a couple of lumps off ) took about 10 mins and no need to drill holes in the panels.

Re: fitting stilo speakers.. HELP

Sell the 6x9s and buy an amp for the front speakers. The speakers in the rear aren't 6x9, it's a pita to get too them as well.
I can explain how to get to the fronts later.

I would sound deaden the doors too it makes a huge difference.

Below is a quick guide, you need to cut the speakers and spiders out first as bozzy directed.

Make an MDF Ring , stick it to the plastic to add a little weight and give something for the screw to bite too.

And use some heavy deadening on the inside.

And outside, then fit speaker and the pod will just screw back as it was originally.
