Ok, so at the minute I have:

Head Unit:
Panasonic CQ-C1103NW (with 4X45W out)

http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/3918.html
These mounted in the dash

Thats's it, I did say basic :D

I need some advice as to where to go next, I don't want to be spending £00's for a full set-up, All I'm after is some decent quality sound so that I don't have to sit there on a long drive listening to tinny music.

Would it be worth moving the speakers that are in my dash into the quarter panels and maybe putting the standard fiat ones back in the dash. Basically because what I've found is that I've got some nice (ish) speakers in the front yet I can get in mates cars who just have the standard speakers in but front and back and theres sounds 10 times better.

Cheers for all your help and sorry in advance if I suggest anything stupid, I'm still on my first car so I have basically no experience.

EDIT:
I have used search button so i know how often you get these questions :D the only topics I could find though is where people were after multiple amps, big subs and lots of speakers.

the cinq is RATHER limited regarding the options you have.

what I would personally do is ditch the teeny weeny speakers in the dash, and have some decent 6x9's in a box attatched to the parcel shelf (as the cinq's boot is not airtight in any way shape or form :p), then in the future got some decent 4" midranges back into the dash to drag the soundstage to the front a bit.

EDIT: sorry i missed that you already have the infinity 10"s. thats fine, keep them, and fit 6x9 as i said above. if you can afford it now or in the future, get a decent 2 channel amp for the 6x9's or a 4 channel for the whole lot.

you should be happy enough with just the boxed 6x9s though if you cant afford an amp

Lol sounds like a good night :D Will keep you updated

Edit: one other thing is it hard to cut the right size hole in the shelf (I'm assuming speakers aren't square-correct me if I'm wrong please) Is it worth getting a stealth shelf or is the standard one good enough?

the speakers will come with templates to help with the cutting. your normal parcel shelf will not be able to support the weight, but why 'buy' a stealth shelf when you're already making the box yourself eh?

DIY all the way

get a mate who is good with wood to help ya, failing that, got to like a joiners place or something, they should do it for you for not a lot of money

same box is fine. use the whole length of the shelf and try to get at least 0.6cu, use this for sizing up http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp

stuff the box a bit with something like loft insulation or similar.

depending on how you sort out the mounts for the box/shelf if its strong enough, you can mount to amp to the underside of the box or the back of the seats

CU == Ft3 == Cubic foot.

on the link above, use ''Volume Calculator - Rectangular/Square Enclosures''.

Bung in the dimentions that you can achieve and try and get around 0.6

I agree with pretty much everything that Oz has said apart from using wadding inside of the Box.
I would only normally use this to trick a sub into thinking that it has more Airspace so that you can put a higher wattage through it without causing any problems.
If you are running off the HU then this would not be necessary i would be concentrating on improving the sound quality rather than hitting those lows by smoothing off the edges of the inside of the box.
Also what does the 12 volt calculator suggest for a ported enclosure as 6x9's are designed really for infinite baffle/free air (no resistance from an enclosure) and could very possibly break themselves (fooo <a href="http://www.htmlgens.com/smileys.php"><img src="http://www.htmlgens.com/smileys/mrt.gif"></a>) so adding a port may increase how low they drop and also allow them the airspace they need.

As for recommendations you could buy cheap £30 and if you do they wont really vary too much in quality TBH.
But you dont want to do that the better ones would be.
