Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone knew of the best way to run 3 phono cables to the boot of my mk1 punto elx.
And is there anywhere in the boot i can take power from for an amp? if no where is the best place to do so?

any help is appreciated

Thanks

Amps take their power supply directly from the battery

thanks, how to i get the power from the battery to inside the car?
can i go under the car

thanks for all help

no, not brought any cables,

my friend is giving me his 4 channel amp, his sub and infinity 6x9s, i was gunna put it all in the boot and still use my blaupunkt dab 52 Head unit, i was gunna use 2 channels for the 6x9s and bridge the other 2 for the sub.

Sorry but i dont know the amps model number, i am just wondering whether to attempt this all my self or to just pay someone.

Another option would be to replace the speakers in the door, but does anyone know where i can get spacers from so i can have more depth, and does anyone know of any other places to put an amp other than the boot.

thanks and sorry if its a bit vague :slayer:

always run power cables on the oposite side of the car to your RCA cables.

Sometimes running power and signal cables alongside each other is unavoidable. If there is decent shielding on the cables, then current 'leaking' from the power cable into the signal cable is avoided.

Make some spacers out of MDF. You can fit amps anywghere you want as long as its secured and not mounted directly onto metal.
