Croma fiat croma 1.9 88kw alternator removal "from the top"

*************************WARNING*******************
disconnect both battery terminals before doing anything

screwdriver
opposite torx 18, torx 25
socket wrench size 8 10 13 15
wiper arm removal tool - not mandatory
spanner size 15

remove wiper arms by undoing nut size 13
remove plastic below wiper arms
move fuel lines out of the way
move all the cables out of the way by uncliping zip ties
undo bolt size 10 and move plastic box out of the way (pic 416 top right)
remove top air filter cover by using torx 25 and then remove whole box
remove alternator tensioner bolt size 15 -pic 546
alternator is held by two opposite torx bolts size 18, top bolt is long, bottom is short- pic 506
undo 8mm and 13mm nut on alternator and remove both cables
alternator can now be pulled up
