That looks fantastic. No too keen on the side stripes, but they aren't that bad IMO.

Loving the front. So that's black vinyl you say... I'm liking that idea a lot and as luck would have it, I've recently ordered an Exotic Red Grande Sporting :p

as i said i have already put the chrome detailing around my front grill on th gp , and here are the pictures eventually and a few others that i took while i was at it.

I love your front grille, tempted to try that on that my sporting, not sure how it will look on the caribbean orange.

no i haven't but since venomco has done the front bit with the vinyl i am tempted to do that which will make it stand out further i think, but not sure on what it would look like on the chemical grey?? anyone good at photoshop?

Looks sweet! :slayer: Ive been thinking about this for a long time.
Now ive seen the results I want to do it even more.
I also like that Audi set from ebay but no one in the uk seems to be doing it. It may be easier for me to fit the ebay kit as the black bit may be pre cut.
If i tried to do this myself like venomco has, it would look poo lol!

where did you get the chrome grill thing from????? I wouldnt mind getting one of those for my crossover black car.

Ive looked on ebay and i cant find anything?

I think its only the chrome trim though not the pre-cut vinyl as its on a black car it just looks like it. I have ordered it anyway though and ill visit a sign writers shop tomorrow for mat black vinyl and give it ago.

I have had an email from the seller confirming that it was sent today so ill let you know. He seems genuine enough.
I also ordered a chrome strip for the bottom of the boot lid and paid postage twice and the guy refunded postage for one without me asking which was nice.
All his adverts and email are in italian but i just used babel to translate everything.

I love the translation of the terms of sale (babel) look:

In case of loss of the goods you will eventually receive the reimbursement from part of the Express Courier and/or Placed Italian that manages the shipment that however will be your task to contact in order to only resolve the problem (for Insured shipments);

4. The feedback will only come rilasciato to the term of the transaction and solo after that you will have expressed your judgment of feedback in my comparisons;

5. Before leaving an eventual comment negative you are prays you to contact to me for being able to resolve the eventual problem that suggests such judgment to you;

Ha Ha! I hope the fairies deliver my stuff on time! He has also sent me a tracking number but thats all in italian too. Hopefully all will go smooth ill let you know how long it takes

cheers mate....how much was it 20???? my pound sign dont work on my keyboard btw.

I assume its just a simple stick it on jobby, no having to twist it to shape?

Yeah £20. £25 with post. Im hoping its one big piece but it probably is just the chrome trim on a roll like u can get from halfords. As long as it stays on!

Yup it was the same chrome trim you can buy from Halfords doh!. Oh well I got the vinyl from a print shop for £7 as I guessed at the piece I needed being 3foot by 2 foot which was lucky cause I messed the 1st attempt up and had enough for my mate to do it properly lol! Ill post pics of it over the weekend.

i'v gotta ask m8, how did u do it without getting any bubbles coz i no that aint to easy lol. lots of soappy water mayb? or have you anouther secret? lol.
also how hard was it to cut it 2 shape coz i reli wana do this it looks sick! :slayer:

Your right it wasnt! I tried by myself first and it was bubble city! My mate who is good at this stuff got me to hold it taught while he very slowly peeled it back and rubbed it with a cloth it was a long slow process but it was worth it. Yeah it was tricky getting the shape right but adding the chrome trim helped to hide any faults.
Added some chrome trim to the rear boot lid as well.

I like that:)

Hey thanks!
Yes its the same chrome trim you can buy at halfords on the front and its really easy to stick just make sure everything is clean.
The rear was dead straight forward even I managed it and Im a complete numpty at these things.:D
I got the rear trim from the same italian guy who sold me the front off ebay. If you can find the chrome trim in the thicker stuff at halfords you could use that for the boot too and save more money as I paid £25 for the boot strip but im guessing you could get a role of it for less.
