100% true!!! feels just like that, eats hills breakfast, can go up a hill near me on a duel carriageway thats about 35-40% incline in 6th gear at 115mph!!!!!!

HI MATE, I HAVE 1.9 SPORTING. I HAVE FITTED A TUNIT BOX, GOT IT SECOND AND OFF EBAY FOR £160, AND £70 TO GET IT SET UP ON ROLLING ROAD AND ITS NOW CHUCKING OUT 162BHP AND 236IBS OF TORQUE.

Just a quick update, had it back on the rolling road to see if they can get any more out of it, after a bit of tweeking with tunit box, its now got 174bhp and 270lbs of torque! also had a bmc panel filter fit inbetween and that gave it an extra 5bhp!!, he did a run standard with no chip on just the bmc filter and it had 137.9bhp, which aint bad to say it should have 130bhp. thinking of gettin the bmc carbon induction kit thing, dont know if this will gain much more from the filter element i got now? dont know if anyone had any experiences from one??? if so could ya let us know. rock on:slayer:

is the filter a replacement panel filter? I've been looking for one of these, but not able to find one..... may I ask where you got it? (looked on a website listing bmc filters, and it didn't have any GP's listed.....

Hi, try this link:

http://www.bmcairfilter.com/VisModel.asp

do they actually work. Having my remap next week at red dot racing, and am interested in one of these too as a cheap upgrade

yeah they do, had mine remaped once a little bit to 161.2 bhp then got a replacement filter from bmc and then had it re-tuned a bit more, but b4 they did it they run it on rolling road first and it had 167.1bhp and that just from putting filter in, so yeah does work! and only cost £40.

Im glad to hear your still happy with your car but i cant help but feel its a waste. The re-map i had done was restricted to 170bhp in order to maintain drivability and reliability. If i wanted i could have had upwads of 190bhp but i dont fancy replacing my clutch left right and centre. If your seriously going to look for more power you really need to look at replacing other parts.

Im guessing that with this 35% hike in power you are still running standard brake pads as well.
