When I wash wipe the rear window, I wipe the rear window and wash the area behind the glove box!!!!! I imagine I will need to cut and insert a fresh bit of pipe where the leak is. Having lim-bowed under the dash I see the pipe looks serated, is this a cover with the pipe inside? And does anyone know if there is a joint in that area? Many thanks

i don't get anything out of my rear washer either. the pump make a noise but i don't know where its plumping out

Almost always a leak in the pipe where the tailgate joins the car body. There's a convertina rubber sleeve there, pull that back and likely you'll find your issue in there.

There are a number of threads on the forum here with the washer and electric issues which are hidden in there

I really appreciate the input but it’s leaking under the dash I have seen the water as I have stripped a few bits out the way, up behind the glove box, I was just asking if there’s a joint in that area. Thank you

I think we all replied to Daniel ... Your post has been highjacked !! Sorry Moimo ;-)

Got amongst my problem today, stripped all the cable harness in the vicinity of where the water was, I found the hose for the rear wash wipe. First thing to note, the pipe is what you see, it is not a rubber pipe in a serrated sleeve, it is just a plastic pipe, so immediately took a dislike to it. The route is entering high level through the bulkhead and then drops down and runs along the passenger side floor, I have read on here that it goes up and over the roof, that’s not the case on my car. The hole was a pin prick in a straight piece in the middle of a harness. I was lucky and found some fuel hose eventually in the just in case pile that when heated I could force over the original, no leak now but will probably run a new rubber pipe across the roof in the summer as I took the A pillar trim off and that looks a good way to go. Anyway if your rear washer IMG_5853.JPGIMG_5854.JPGdoesn’t wash anything apart from the interior maybe that’s where it will be.
