Technical Where to buy Mes.

Technical Where to buy Mes.

I know this is probably a much asked question.

Wheres the best place and cheapest price for either fiatecuscan or multiecuscan.

I see Mes themselves sell a licence for 50 euro.
You can download it for free and buy the licence as you say but then you can't do anything with it without an interface to connect your device to the car. There are lots of solutions to this on ebay and lots of people posting about all the problems they've had with them!

Being an old school nuts and bolts type person this worried me a lot when I was deciding how to buy mine - I need a plug-n-play solution. I saw quite a number of recommendations for Gendan so decided to give them a ring. Very pleasant and helpful people. I didn't buy right there and then, in fact I must have rung them 2 or 3 times before deciding to buy from them and I still ring them when something turns up I don't understand. This ongoing free support is invaluable.

By the way I have no connection to them apart from being a very satisfied customer.

Good luck with whatever way you decide to go. MES is as good as it gets for serious hobby use in my opinion.

regards
Jock

Fiatecuscan is discontinued and you cannot buy a new licence.

You can only licence MES through the website or one of their autohorised distributors. The cheapest option is through the MES website at €50. Gendan cost more but give excellent support.
If you buy it for less than €50 it is a counterfit or hacked copy. Apart from not being supported these have been reported as possibly having viruses on the disk etc. Get a legal copy and support MES, buying counterfit copies risks the product being withdrawn and then we all lose. MES is an absolute bargain and we are lucky to have it.
