Does anyone know where I can source the 2 pinch Bolts on the bottom of the front shocks.

Haynes book says they should be replaced but I'm struggling to find them online.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers, Thomas

Hi Thomas,

you can probably find them googling the part number …

I would clean the originals up and re-use them if there not damaged...Over the last 30 plus years I have never had a bolt fail on anything I have fettled..

Thanks Bernie, appreciate it. Your googling skills are better than mine.

Nikrox, I have had them out and back a few times doing springs over the years with no issues.

Bought the Haynes book to do the CV joint and they said they needed to be changed.

Strange, will put them book for now as I need to change the CV joint this weekend.

Will get some next payday. :)

Hi Thomas,

those kind of bolts (=screw+nut) are torqued enough to get stretched so they can absorb the efforts and vibrations by "spring" effect. That's why they need to be replaced, as Fiat recommend in eLearn …

NB: Fiat uses the torque + angle tightening method !!
