Hello, yesterday the airbag at steering Wheel started to do a weird thing when I turn it to the right. It shows up a message about airbag failure and airbag icon is on, but when I turn it to left or is centered, error stop showing and icon turns off. I checked can bus and I saw that when steering Wheel is turned to right load at airbag is 7 Ohms, and says that is desconected, and when it is ok and no errors, load is 3 Ohms. I dismount airbag module and everything is ok, but I think that problem is at wires around column, but I am not sure.

Somebody can help me with this? Thanks in advance!

If the steering wheel is removed, there's a round plastic case that has a coil of sensor wires in it. Some of the wires can break through friction, but this is very rare.. it happened on my car but it had done 190,000 miles and I repaired it rather than buy a new one.. could this be your problem?

Yeah! It looks like so. So I will get a new one (but with Cruise control, that mine does not have it) and then I will install it. Also, I asked the same to my friend that has a Stilo and he told me the same.
Thanks a lot for your help. My car is like 197.000 KM, but well, Spanish weather is too hot so maybe friction and hot weather combined was the perfect match to accelerate this effect.

Final result: replacing with a new one, error has gone. Thanks a lot!
