This is my first post to this forum and I'm looking for some help on a little problem with my Grande Punto.

Recently, the temperature display in the dash has started to show -31 degrees!!

The car is running perfectly fine, it's just that odd figure being shown on the display.

Any ideas as to what could be causing the issue? I'm thinking it might be a fault with outside temperature sensor. If so does anyone know where I can get hold of one and how to change it if required?

I've had a little look online for a replacement sensor, but haven't found anything!

My model is a Grande Punto, 1.2 8V, 2009.

I think the sensor is built into one of the wing mirrors so you may have to change the whole mirror.

Before starting to change bits on your car I would recommend disconnecting the battery for 15 mins and reconnecting it.
It might be just a temporary error if you're lucky.
