My 2008 Semi-Auto Fiat Punto is stuck in the manual option and now won't revert to the automatic mode. Can anyone help with this issue?

This doesn't answer the question... my gearbox is stuck in manual, therefore I have to change gears myself. When I try to switch it to auto, it remains in manual. It's been like this for a month now.

That's a new one to me. Good luck finding the solution.
