Having a few issues with my Punto lately. Seems to be using a lot of oil so a leak is highly likely. Trying to locate the leak is proving harder there is two possible sources however not the best at naming parts.

I've taken some pictures of the possible places and names and assistance would be appreciated.

It seems that there is oil all over the engine. Remove the filter box to inspect the top.

I have this on mine, asked a mechanic the other day and he reckons its normal, just gets abit dirty over the years....although im not sure

Have you checked the big breather pipe under the airbox? Fiat did a better quality replacement one, the original ones rot through underneath and breathe oil all over the top of your engine

It was leaking from the air filter pipe where the box sits wasn't fastened properly after it had been taken off. Put it back on and replaced seal all been good for the last month
