Hi guys,
so recently i have had troubles with starting my car, and the battery light and power steering failed, which i thought may have been a problem with the alternator or battery, and so there i was driving to the shops everything was fine and i parked up, and then when i came back from the shop the car just wouldnt start, i had my brother come and try to jump start the car yet nothing was working, thats when i had it towed to the mechanics and then they said that the ignition barrel was causing a short cirucit in the starter motor, and for the mechanic to do any work on this would have a risk of losing the cars code to the key, and so they had to call out another company to extract the code just in case, in all the job cost me £120 which i was very disappointed in as this should be a part that should survive the whole cars life, in the end thinking to sell the car soon.
