I've just bought myself an 06 1.2 Grande Punto and have been slowly working through the problems with it with the help of this forum!
I've been trying to get to the bottom of the alternator squeal in the mornings and have replaced the drainage tube (under the scuttle) to the new right angled modified part.
As the squeal has continued, and upon checking the aux belt in the mornings, its clear that the belt/alternator is still receiving a light shower! Looked around confused and scratching my head to realise I have no rubber seal below the windscreen wipers:bang:
I've googled grande punto engine bays to see how the rubber seal looks like and I know that the dealer can order this part but it'll take well over 2 weeks!
Can someone look at their rubber seal and tell me roughly what size it may be? I believe they are D shaped...ebay has companies that sell universal ones (type 'rubber seal trim') in various sizes but unfortunately i'm not able to post URLs (1st post!)
