Hi, does anyone know the specific tool I need to remove this?

I've got a 76mm 14flutes which doesn't fit.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the link keat. I was, however, referring to the housing on the 1.9 mjet engine which has the replaceable filter inside.

One of those tools would probably do the job though unless anyone knows the exact size? Space is a bit tight so probably worth getting the specific tool...

To open the housing you need a specific tool...

And Fiat being thoughtful have put it in the most ridiculous place! Have to remove wheel and plastic panels just to get to the housing.

You're right about that.
Did it tonight, what a nightmare.
Als the sumpplug is not thought through.
When my car is on it's wheel the front side of the sump is lower, leaving oiol in it. And my GP is on original springs.
I put some jacks underneath to tilt the car backwards to drain all the oil.
Also opend it with a warm engine to make it run out smoother.

I used somesort of triden tool to open the housing, none of the filter caps we had fit the fiat housing...

I ended up taking to local garage to do the oil and filter change.NEVER had to do that before on any of my cars. Furthermore my sump plug was rounded off! Some t**t must have cranked it up last time it was changed.

AND fiat didn't even have it on the shelf, had to order in.

Did the fuel filter today and that was fine though.
