Right managed to separate my rear badge, followed the custom badge guide so tried using nail varnish remover to get the paint off but it's not budging? It almost feels like a plastic coating on it:

Just wondering if this is how everyone's badge looks like and I'm just not scrubbing enough or if there's something I'm missin...cheers in advance :)

Takes a feckin miracle to do it right mate! I ruined mine in the process! Got the majority off fine but thought if I left the plastic in a bowl of nail varnish remover for a few hours all the excess will just slide off...I ended up melting the plastic it went all slimy and soft! Be careful and take your time and it will be fine brothaaa!

Just to clarify, I used Boots own brand (light pink in colour) nail varnish remover. If you are passing a Boots on the way home may be pick up a bottle.

Regards

Stephen

I was hoping to keep the original fiat lettering so I might try your method! So just wet sanded then polished? What did you use to polish it?

Yep just wet sand 400 grit then move to 800 then a quick rub with 2000 if you can then I just used a guitar polish/cutting compound but you could use a normal car cutting compound and polish.

Jordan.
